This piece is inspired by the feeling of flying low over a living coral reef —
light rippling through turquoise water, gold catching like sun on coral.
Part of my Reef Windows series, this work is designed as functional art:
a sculptural side table whose top can be lifted and used as a tray, allowing the piece to change and move with your space.
The surface is hand-finished using layered resin, alcohol inks, and metallic accents, creating organic reef-like patterns and natural depth. No two pieces can ever be repeated.
